Jugg City, USA

As in milk jugs. Hundreds of them. Maybe even thousands of them. They're all over a corner lot on heavily forested Route 40 in Mays Landing, NJ. According to Peter Genovese, author of Roadside New Jersey, this is the doings of a former schoolbus driver named Josephine Stapleton, who's been dyeing jugs and lining them up in patterns for more than 30 years.

To the left is a rainbow with a pot of gold. In the center, an American flag, more clearly visible in the next photo, below. To the right of the Stars and Stripes is the NASCAR flag. The sign in the background wishes Josephine a happy birthday.

A holding area for jugs in progress is off to the side of the house. And in the backyard, a school bus.
